Motorola i580 Review, Specs and Pictures

Motorola i580 Review, Specs and Pictures
The Motorola i580 was created with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. It has a durable design and rubber over mold that can withstand pressure even from the toughest of surfaces. The iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) phone is released for Sprint Nextel and has a huge list of sophisticated features in its name. Some of them are:

- Built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera with 4x zoom, auto focus, flash, self-timer, video recording and playback in 1280 by 1024 pixels.

- Built-in MP3 player with easy to use interface and controls. Supported formats are AAC and MP3.

- Push-To-Talk functionality working in conjunction with MOTOtalk off-network digital walkie-talkie service. Equipped with "Push-To-Smart Replies" users can now respond to PTT calls with preset or custom text messages with the click of a button! This eliminates the use of voice mail or talking in a quiet public place such as a library, business meeting, etc.

- Push-To-Meet - Users of the Push-To-Meet can now send datebook reminders and send to other Motorola i580 users via Push-To-Talk.
- Push-To-X Manager: With this PTX functionality, users can control all of the Push-To-Talk features of the i580 with a single convenient menu.

Advanced support for the visually impaired: An integrated Voice Playback feature allows the visually impaired to use the phone easily via simulated voice menus and screen options.

- Advanced Front Ported Audio Support: The phone comes built-in with front dual speakers. Most other phones have a single speaker in the rare. This makes using the MP3 player and listening to music on the i580 much more enjoyable.

- Location based services with built in GPS (Global Positioning Systems).

- WAP 2.0 internet browser with WiDEN technology for high rapid data transfer rates and internet browsing.

- Bluetooth and handsfree connectivity

- microSD/Transflash memory expansion.

- 2 way radio

- Integrated speakerphone

- Voice recorder
